Creating your legacy - Sample wording

It is recommended that you obtain legal advice when making a Will and/or using a sample gift clause in your Will. You may find it helpful to take the following Will wording with you when you seek legal advice:

I give to the Liberal Party of Australia – NSW Division (ABN 68 324 857 904) (insert option):

  • my whole estate or
  • my residuary estate or (insert number) % of my residuary estate or
  • the sum of $ (insert amount) or (insert number) % of my residuary estate or
  • my property (insert details)

and the receipt of the gift by its authorised officer for the time being is a sufficient discharge to my executors.
