The Salamander Bay Sports Complex is home to Nelson Bay Hockey and the Nelson Bay Marlins, serving as a vital hub for local sport in Port Stephens. However, this well-loved facility is in urgent need of upgrades to ensure it can continue supporting our growing community. 

Players, families, and supporters deserve modern, safe, and high-quality sporting facilities—but right now, the complex is falling behind. With better infrastructure, we can provide improved playing surfaces, upgraded lighting for night games and training, and enhanced spectator experience with a new scoreboard to support local teams and attract more sporting events to our region.
