The new federal Liberal candidate for the Seat of Grayndler is the Rozelle businessman Wenjie Zhang.
“I am delighted to have the opportunity to run for the Liberal Party in Grayndler, and campaign for a stronger economy, small business support and cost of living relief for local families,” said Mr Zhang.
Mr Zhang, who was born in China and migrated to Australia in 1992, said he is deeply grateful to Australia and wants to give something back to his community.
“My work in the multicultural community and small business experience will help me be a strong advocate for local businesses and our community,” said Mr Zhang.
“I want to help address the challenges our communities face, and help improve the lives of local residents.”
Mr Zhang said that he was grateful for the support the Morrison Government has provided to small businesses, before and during the pandemic.
“Our small businesses are the backbone of our community because they provide local jobs and keep our economy going,” Mr Zhang said.
As part of the Morrison Liberal team, Wenjie will work hard to deliver economic support for businesses, ease the cost of living pressures on local families, and build a better and more secure future for the community.
