Vaccine Rollout Milestones
- Almost 30 million doses have been administered

- Over 96% of those aged over 70 are protected with a first dose
- Over 91% of all Australians aged over 50 are protected with a first dose

Australia secures additional supplies of COVID-19 Treatments
The Australian Government has increased supplies of the promising COVID-19 treatment Sotrovimab with over 15,000 additional doses arriving in Australia over recent days. Sotrovimab has been shown to reduce hospitalisation or death by 79 per cent in adults with mild to moderate COVID-19, who are at risk of developing severe COVID-19.

In addition, Australia will also have access to the the new anti viral treatment molnupiravir, subject to approval by the TGA, following the Morrison Government’s deal to purchase 300,000 courses of the promising medication
Molnupiravir is an oral antiviral that is being developed for the first-line treatment of COVID-19 in adult patients with mild-to-moderate symptoms. Treatment with Molnupiravir has been shown to stop people with COVID-19 developing serious symptoms, keeping them out of hospital and preventing serious illness and death. Read more here.
More than 50,000 home buyers enter the market under home guarantee scheme
More than 50,000 Australians have taken up a place under the Coalition Government’s Home Guarantee Scheme. Under the Home Guarantee Scheme – comprising the Family Home Guarantee, the First Home Loan Deposit Scheme, and the New Home Guarantee – 52,888 Australians have purchased a home or reserved a place under the scheme since 1 January 2020. Jobs boom as Morrison Government Defence Health Facility upgrades ramp up
Almost 6,000 workers are being employed across Australia to deliver a $212.5 million overhaul of health facilities for the Australian Defence Force. The Morrison Government’s Joint Health Command Garrison Facilities Upgrade Project is providing new and upgraded health facilities for ADF personnel at 13 priority Defence locations. Read more here.
