NSW Premier Gladys Berejiklian will join the Prime Minister, Premiers and Chief Ministers at the 2018 National Governors Association (NGA) meeting in Washington, D.C.
The Australian delegation will be joined by approximately 40 US Governors and CEOs from leading US and Australian businesses. The delegation will attend sessions on economic development, health, education, innovation and energy, agriculture and veterans services.
The Premier will discuss the success of asset recycling in NSW when she addresses Governors at a special joint session of the NGA.
The NGA will be an opportunity to seek further investment in the State’s infrastructure pipeline and to identify further jobs growth opportunities, including as part of the Western Sydney aerotropolis.
The Premier will depart for Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, 21 February and return to NSW on Monday, 26 February.
