Local lawyer will fight for Parramatta
Katie Mullens has been endorsed as the Liberal candidate for Parramatta, and has vowed to use her nearly 15 years’ experience as a local solicitor to continue the hard-work of Geoff Lee, and be a strong voice in the Perrottet Government.
“Our community is facing challenges, as we grow and combat the rising cost-of-living, but there are also many opportunities – and Parramatta needs someone who’ll fight, and be part of a team with the leadership and experience to move us forward” said Ms Mullens.
“I am passionate about supporting the needs of local businesses, and creating local employment opportunities – so that everyone in our community has the opportunity to live and work in our community.
“Parramatta has so much to offer everyone, Eat Street has restaurants from all over the world, people have access to quality live entertainment, a beautiful parklands and a CBD that continues to grow.
“The Perrottet Liberal Team is continuing to make significant investments in transformative infrastructure projects, helping families and businesses, including Metro West, the Parramatta Light Rail Stage 2 and Westmead Hospital campus.”
Having moved to Parramatta to study law at Western Sydney University, Ms Mullens fell in love with the area and made the region her home.
Ms Mullens is an eager supporter of numerous community organisations, including the Riverside Theatres, Parramatta Eels and Western Sydney Wanderers FC.
“New South Wales needs strong and experienced leadership more than ever, to ensure that our families have the certainty to plan for their future,” Ms Mullens said.
“Only the Perrottet Liberal Team is able to deliver the strong economy that we need to take the pressure off family budgets and business, and invest in strengthening local services and our communities.”
