Senior legal executive, Jenny Ware, has been selected and endorsed as the Liberal candidate for Hughes.
Specialist planning and environmental lawyer, Jenny is the Director and General Counsel at Georges River Council, having previously worked for top tier law firms.
She has been an active participant in numerous community organisations for more than twenty years, including her local community pre-school, Gymea Bay Public School P&C and the Sutherland Shire Softball Association. Jenny has also sat on the board of disability support provider Sylvanvale and the Urban Development Institute of Australia.
Raising two sons with her husband Michael, Jenny is eager to make sure that they grow up in a community which has great infrastructure, green spaces and plentiful local job opportunities.
“Our community needs a representative who will help to protect Hughes’ unique natural character, deliver support for local business and families to help them recover from the impact of the global pandemic, and has the experience to influence key Government decisions.”
“Our region has been experiencing rapid growth, and I will ensure that our community has the roads, amenities and green spaces it deserves,” said Ms Ware.
“If elected, I will fight to make sure our small businesses receive the support they need to grow and succeed.”
“I will be a strong advocate for this community in the Morrison Government, for our roads, our schools, local jobs, cost of living relief, and I will work tirelessly to address housing affordability in Hughes and throughout Australia.”
As part of the Morrison Liberal team, Jenny will work hard to deliver a stronger economy and a more secure nation in these uncertain times.
